About Art 4 Youth
Our students are encouraged to grow up with us. We want their creative, aesthetic and intellectual development to be stimulated regularly, just like playing football or taking drama classes promises to.
Unlike other after-school physical activities, we ensure students are calm and focused in our classroom. We don’t muck around with clay or finger-paint (OK, maybe sometimes) – your child will be studying Fine Art to foster their interest in future careers and enhance higher education options.
Every lesson features art theory alongside technical skills like drawing, painting, pottery and sculpture. Every student is supplied with high quality materials and equipment. And every teacher at our school is a practicing local artist, with a talent for working with children and young people and has enhanced DBS disclosure.
We are a young non profit community school (Art 4 Youth CIC, company number 10836303) who are constantly seeking out new ways to minimise cost of our lessons and allow more children to join our classes; therefore any support from local patrons, parents and members of the community at this early stage is hugely appreciated.
Art 4 Less is a project formed to help children who are living in under privileged financial and socially deprived circumstances to take them on a journey of learning fine arts FREE of charge. Our school will equip and enable students to aim for better life with better career prospective in the future. Art 4 Less is about bringing fine art into every child’s life of Norwich who couldn’t have dreamed of having high quality fine art tuition by talented local artists in the art studio with professional art equipment and supplies.
Please Support Us
We couldn't provide our vital services without the people who support us. There are so many ways to get involved to help our young artists have better perspectives in live whilst embracing creative skills with us.
Every donation we receive will change aspirations of our young artists and will have
a huge impact on their future lives. We support children and young people by providing free art education to those who live in financially disadvantaged circumstances.

Art 4 Youth Norwich art school offers an access to the art education
in the local community
Thinking visually and conceptually plays a huge part in modern industries. You may have a little architect-in-the-making at home. Perhaps your child is a future fashion guru or auto-engineer. They could even be designing the very same high-speed aircraft you fly in decades from today. All these career paths, plus thousands more, require the same thing – basic drawing skills.
Combined with the lack of art in the curriculum, funding cuts, a growing reliance on digital screens, and a home life with limited connection to creativity – our children are losing confidence in their own ability to simply draw. By the time they reach university age, collating a portfolio becomes a monstrous task with limited local support available. The result? Your child’s lack of practical experience or engagement with their creative skillset severely stunts their potential and choice in paths of high and further education.
Alternatively, a young person who has cultivated their creative thinking with our school for at least last two years of high school can already own a complete portfolio suitable for entering further education. The long-term assistance we offer includes assembling an extensive collection of your child’s work for pursuing further study and higher education applications. Looking locally, that sort of resource is rare.
